Octo Insurance Brokers appoints Sean Fallon as Non-Executive Director

Octo Insurance Brokers has appointed experienced financial services leader Sean Fallon as its first Non-Executive Director, strengthening its leadership team as the business continues to build on its early growth.

Sean brings more than three decades of experience across banking, finance, relationship management, corporate development and business growth. A Chartered Banker, he has worked across retail, corporate and commercial banking, supporting SMEs and larger businesses through growth and expansion. He’s held roles with Allied Irish Bank and RBS across his career.

Since leaving banking, Sean has held senior relationship-led roles across the charity and education sectors, including Major Donors Manager at Celtic FC Foundation and Head of Corporate Relationships at the University of Strathclyde Business School. He is also currently a Non-Executive Director of Beatson Cancer Charity.

His appointment comes as Octo continues to strengthen its position as a relationship-led insurance brokerage, combining experienced advice with a modern, data-led approach to risk.

Founded by father and son, Richard and Domenico Davis, Octo was launched to offer an alternative to a market increasingly dominated by large, consolidated brokers. Its focus is on delivering specialist advice and insurance that genuinely fits the needs of the client.

For Sean, the opportunity to join Octo was rooted in both the calibre of the business and a shared belief in the value of long-term relationships.

In his role as Non-Executive Director, Sean will support Octo with strategic guidance and access to his network for partnership opportunities. His experience in financial services, particularly in understanding risk and the importance of a relationship-led service, closely aligns with Octo’s own client-first model.
